Perkara nge flush pake oli diesel jg gpp sehh ktimbang pake enjin flush..
blm lama abis bantu temen bersihin enjin 4g15 mitsu yg sludge parah plus kerak2 item gosong, buka enjin cover ama oil pan bersih2 ama ganti oil strainer.. abis itu pake rimula jalan 3000 km.. minggu lalu buka head cover buat stel klep, ud mending jauh warna enjin nya..

Enaknya sehh kl mnurut ane tune up dl.. toh skalian stel klep kan musti buka head cover.. otomatis montir musti bersihin ntuh klep2 dl sblom nyetel klep nya..

Kl ane sehh termasuk aliran anti enjin flush, apalagi buat mobil lama.. ntuh seal2 either lgs jebol atau malah melar (yg akhirnya bakal jebol jg).. jaman dl ferio ane perna skli iseng enjin flush, malah akhirnya bongkar timing belt ampe turun kupling gegara seal jebol smua.. makanya ane lebi demen cara konvensional yg terbukti aman, buka head cover ama oil pan bawah..

Saran newbie, tune up aja dulu om, abis itu pake oli Q8 T800 aja buat flushing.. di dunia oli segalon 5L 375rb..


Btw setuju lagi sama Om DOHC.. kebetulan punya pengalaman mirip...

Yaris bakpao tua om (2007 at). Dulu emang sering premium-pertamax-pertalite dan ndak pernah carbon clean dr baru. Bulan juni sama okt th lalu br carbon clean, rencana bulan depan mau carbon clean. Sy pikir karena ini 2 cairan yg bukan oli, tapi sama2 masuk ke tmpt yang sama bs ngerusak seal2 di dalem nya oom

Sy pikir karena ini 2 cairan yg bukan oli, tapi sama2 masuk ke tmpt yang sama bs ngerusak seal2 di dalem nya oom

Itu carbon clean apa injector,throttle body semua ikut dibersihkan jg kah?
Kalo masih ngelitik setelah 2x carb clean, bisa coba metode italian tuneup om.. sisain bensin sampe kena sensor refuel pertamax turbo secukupnya, tahan di redline bbrp saat.. ga harus ngebut2..

setelah itu coba setia sama 1 oktan aja... minimal pertalite.. semoga membaik..

Oiya ngomong2 carb clean bisa coba yg water decarbonized... ada di bengkel yg bisa lokasi di rawa buaya sana.. harganya sekitar 400k

Sekarang saya pake pertamax teruss om, paling ideal dari avg bensin, kehalusan mesin sama tarikan. Nah yg pas bulan juni itu tune up (yg dikerjain di kepala piston sama satu lagi sy lupa, tapi yg satu ini kaya katup di dalemnya disemprot cairan). Sisain bensin sampe kena sensor maksudnya sampe kedip2 om?

Iya sepertinya itu sudah injector cleaning.. dan pastikan kondisi busi juga prima ya om..

Yes om sampe kedip2.. biar pertamax turbo nya makin murni.. pantengin rpm tinggi +-15-20 menit.. kalo di wiki bilang sampe 20 km biasanya..

Nubie urun komen lg..

Kl carb clean itu seal nya beda lg, seal piston itu, terdiri 2 ring kompresi ama 1 ring oli, 3 3 nya dr bahan metal.. btw mengenai sering2 carb clean, dl perna dibahas d tret2 lama, kl bsa jgn tralu sering. Kasi jarak at least 4000 ampe 5000 km..

Dan kl ud kelewt lama ga perna carb clean, mungkin bsa coba skalian once for all, pake yg lebi kuat cairan nya yg disemprot ke dalem ruang bakar trus disedot lg..

Saya pernah pake 3 cairan yg didrop ke ruang bakar.

Yg plg mantep si AC Delco X66P. Naikin kompresi jadi rata 190an dr sebelumnya ada yg beberapa 160-an. Direndem semaleman, besoknya dicek biar gak water hammer dan start lgsg jreng.

Marvel Mystery Oil agak brebet pas starternya, daya penghancur keraknya di bawah AC Delco, tp lumayan... apalagi pas panas.

Yg sabun/diisep lagi pake alat juga lumayan tp kurang banyak saya bilang dan kudu diambil lumayan cepet, gak bisa dibiarin semaleman. Sabunnya ini penghancur kerak, tp kalo ketemu karet dan kerendem juga jadi efek negatif sepertinya, karetnya jadi kayak kenyal2x gimana gitu...

Penasaran ama oli2 yg tbn nya rendah gini.
Andaikata, ada 2 macem oli. Sintetik tbn cm 6, mineral tbn nya 8.
Setelah dipakai 1 taun, sintetik tbn nya ngedrop ke angka 3, yg mineral ngedrop ke angka 2.
Apa bisa dikatakan sintetik tbn nya ngedrop lebih lambat? Walaupun tbn awalnya lebih rendah? Ato malah salah? Hehe...

waktu promo di snd kmrn itu, saya juga sudah pegang2 botol oli ini. tapi setelah lihat tbn yg rendah, gak jadi ambil. padahal ada lumayan banyak stok nya

Saya cari msds total quarts future 9000 sae 5w-30, tidak ada angka tbn nya. Sementara LiquiMoly SpecialTech AA yang synteic tecnologi tbn : 9.0. Sementara Opaljet Longlife 3 kadar tbn : 7.0. Saya mau tanya bisa nggak LiquiMoly SpecialYech AA ini dipake 10k km atau 1 tahun.
Satu lagi pertanyaan saya, mudah2an ada yang bisa bantu jawab. Untuk bisa dipake 10k km atau 1 tahun berapa syarat minimal tbn? Secara 1 tahun odo under 10k km

Saat promo beli 2 gratis 2 di S & D MOTUL H Tech 100 Plus dijual cuma seharga 176 ribu saja. Saya beli 6 botol dpt 1 lusin oli tsb dgn harga promo cuma 88 ribu sajaImage. Sebelum beli oli tsb saya check dulu phisik botol serta batch no nya Oli tsb di ACE yg jual dgn harganya 195 ribu lalu ke S& D lihat penampakan fisik botol dan batch no sama persis sehingga yakin bukan oli ACDC. Tadi nya saya pengen tetap pakai oli Nissan 5W30 eco fully syntetic API SN yg harganya mendekati 100 ribu, dulu saat saya beli di beres utk stock oli di rumah, cuma dgn adanya promo ini jadi berubah, ke depan ganti merk oli ke Motul, yg saya yakin kelasnya masih di atas oli produksi Idemitxx yg selama ini saya gunakanImage.

Marvel Mystery Oil agak brebet pas starternya, daya penghancur keraknya di bawah AC Delco, tp lumayan... apalagi pas panas.

Yg sabun/diisep lagi pake alat juga lumayan tp kurang banyak saya bilang dan kudu diambil lumayan cepet, gak bisa dibiarin semaleman. Sabunnya ini penghancur kerak, tp kalo ketemu karet dan kerendem juga jadi efek negatif sepertinya, karetnya jadi kayak kenyal2x gimana gitu...
Kl cairan2 perontok kerak gt kl bsa jg klamaan d rendem dlm mesin, bener bsa kena ke seal2 klep.. plg 30 menit jg ud ckup buat rontokin..

Merek plg lmayan yg perna ane coba liqui moly petrol decarb.. disemprot buat intake cleaning doank makanya ga ad foam nya samsek, tp ini cairan nya kuat buat rontokin kerak piston jg.. cuman krn ini bentuk nya cair pas di semprot, musti di crank dl mesin nya buat buang cairan sblom pasang busi..

Tp kl biasa tune up rutin, ane modal dcs jg ud ckup

Oli tsb apakah bisa digunakan untuk masa pakai 1 tahun atau lebih 10.000 km di mobil Nissan All New Grand Livina th 2014 dgn BBM Premium Ron 88? Selama ini saya setahun 2 kali ganti oli mesin dan filter olinya dgn oli standard pabrikan yg API SN.
Penasaran ama oli2 yg tbn nya rendah gini.
Andaikata, ada 2 macem oli. Sintetik tbn cm 6, mineral tbn nya 8.
Setelah dipakai 1 taun, sintetik tbn nya ngedrop ke angka 3, yg mineral ngedrop ke angka 2.
Apa bisa dikatakan sintetik tbn nya ngedrop lebih lambat? Walaupun tbn awalnya lebih rendah? Ato malah salah? Hehe...

Viscosity does not translate into protection.
Film strength provides the protection from shearing but there is no film strength indicator.
Viscosity just means the fluids resistances to flow which is another meaning for being thick or thin.
"A lower viscosity number' does not always mean lower protection.,"


A Lot of opinions and mis-information here. I am an engine engineer from Detroit with about 30 years of experience, so let me list a few truths:
1. An oil filter will never actually fill-up with contaminants, dirt, etc. unless someone sabotages your engine. There is a lot of capacity in a typical filter cartridge and engines don't really generate that much filterable soot and dirt. Most of the soot is too small to be filtered by anything but a special bypass filter. The real reason we change filters, is that the paper and glue that holds the insides together will not last forever; years, but not forever, and also to get that old oil out of the filter. Use a good quality filter that has a very high efficiency rating in the ASTM spec test. I like the Pure-1 or Bosch filters.

2. Really hard street driving is still a walk-in-the-park compared to the manufacturers standard General Durability tests, where the engine is cycled continuously between peak power and peak torque for hundreds of hours. One exception would be road-racing if you don't have a good oil-cooler and you let the oil temp get above 250F. The real severe-duty as far as oil is concerned is lots of idling and short trips. When you idle, your combustion quality is poorest, so you have extra fuel-dilution. Also in extended idling, your oil temperature rarely get above 150F which is what is needed to drive off fuel and water vapor from the oil.
Whenever an engine is running, blowby gasses get past the rings and enter the crankcase where it mixes with the oil. These blowby gasses are exhaust gas, which means it contains a lot of water vapor which when it hits the cold crankcase, condenses into liquid water. The faster you can warm-up your engine (by driving not idling), the sooner you can start to boil-off the water (and fuel) in your crankcase.

3. The main reason why oil turns dark is that the hottest spots in the engine (top of cylinder liners, pistons, exhaust side of head, etc.) slowly "cook" the oil through oxidation. Think of putting cooking oil in a fry pan and overheating it, it will darken. There are other chemical processes that degrade the oil as it mixes with Nitric Oxides in the crankcase. In GDI engines there is also a bit of soot from combustion that gets picked-up by the oil and suspended in solution by the detergents. The soot particles are typically in the sub-micron size, so they just pass-through the filter and are also small enough to not hurt the bearings and other wear surfaces in the engine. Synthetic oil has a lot higher temperature resistance than conventional mineral oils and so it cooks more slowly.

4. The net effect of oil dilution by water and fuel, effects of time at high temperature, and other chemical reactions in the crankcase, mean that eventually the oil will get out-of spec regarding its viscosity and its ability to keep the inside of the engine clean; as the detergent, anti-corrosion, anti-sludge, and anti-foam additive packages wear-out. The quality or age of the oil filter can't change this. If you just follow the manufacturers recommended change interval (or the maintenance computer) you should be on the safe and conservative side.

waktu promo di snd kmrn itu, saya juga sudah pegang2 botol oli ini. tapi setelah lihat tbn yg rendah, gak jadi ambil. padahal ada lumayan banyak stok nya
