Itu jg gegara kelupaan.. ama mobilnya jrg ane yg pegang, inget nya pas mau ganti busi ipah tuwir ane br nyadar ad utang busi 2 taon.. tp kaget jg ane tuh busi kuat bener, 2 taon jalan ampir 50 rebu km masi nyala..

Itu jg abis wd sekaleng om, semprot, diemin, ketok2, puter2, sedot dst dst.. btw ntuh busi drat nya ampe karat gt, apa drat enjin head ane karatan jg yah ??

Sy ikut cerita ah.....

Bln juni 2018 sy ganti 4 busi kisul gara2 mesin tiba2 pincang, kadang ndut2an dan agak loyo....

Trus sy cb inget2, ini busi dipake sejak kapan ya.... Gak inget blas samasekali kapan terakhir ganti busi... Lha udh bertahun2 tiap serpis rutin di bengkel kampung pas diliat montir pasti dibilang businya masih bagus. Paling diamplas doang. Bbrp kali pernah masuk beres a2000 jg gk pernah disuruh ganti busi tuh....

Penasaran, ane telusuri riwayat serpisnya kisul ini, termyata terakhir ganti busi adalah....

BTW br inget sy pernah ceritain ntuh busi di thread ini 2 taun yg lalu, page 28. Ternyata msh kuat dipake smp 1,5 taun kemudian :mky_03:

sebetulnya kalo mau praktis, bersihin busi cukup semprot carb klin trus di lap pakai kain katun. selesai.
kalo nilai panas yang dipakai sesuai dengan permintaan mesin, busi nggak perlu dibersihin karena bisa self cleaning.
bisanya ada kerak karena nilai panas nggak tepat atau ada oli bocor ke ruang bakar.
saya pernah baca di website-nya NGK, busi tidak boleh disikat apalagi diamplas.

alasan pastinya kenapa ya silahkan googling aja. yang pasti alasan utama buat saya kalo busi diamplas adalah :

SM turut menyukseskan gerakan hemat busi, gunakanlah busi selama mungkin😀😀😀

Btw, kl yg perna ane iseng2 coba, ntuh eletroda busi kl diamplas yah kekikis eletrode nya.. dan lg itu percikan api utk busi2 tertentu macam NGk yg ad cekungan nya malah nyala dibagian pinggiran electrode nya, jd kl dikikir kan pinggirannya jd alus, mungkin malah jd ga fokus percikan api nya.. cmiiw ahh

Klo busi canggih yg iridium itu sih udh sering denger emg elektrodanya itu gk boleh diutak atik....

Tp klo busi jadul 12 rebuan sy blm pernah denger gk boleh diamplas sih... Apa sy yg kurang gaul ya :big_childish:

setuju.

busi mahal (iridium/platinum) haram diampelas karena iridium/platinum yg dipake itu seiprit, tuipissss... cuma dipake buat ngelapisin bagian luar elektroda busi biar ga cepet aus... dan begitu diampelas maka hilanglah itu logam mahal dan businya jadi kayak busi besi biasa: cepet aus.
iridium itu harganya 20% lebih mahal dari emas loh... silakan dikira2 berapa gram yg dipake buat bikin busi.

kalo busi copper/iron mah silakan aja diampelas biar bersih, bahkan kalo perlu dibentuk ulang elektrodanya yang udah bulet biar lancip kayak platinum. bisa bantu nambah fokus api businya loh... tapi kalo gagal ya buang aje

ngomongin busi, baru inget busi motor vario 125 (generasi awal) saya sejak odo belasan ribu km sampai skrg udah 90 ribuan km gak pernah ganti kwkwkwkwkw. oya pake busi vixion karena pake busi bawaan gampang ngempos klo udh jalan 1000 km

busi iridium masih boleh diutak atik elektroda masa-nya buat atur kerenggangan.
masalah bersihin busi, ini ada tips sedikit :

tetap dengan pendapat pribadi saya masalah ngebersihin busi, kurang kerjaan. apalagi sampe diamplas mengkilat, makin buang waktu. sama halnya seperti ngelap/ngebersihin telapak ban mobil/motor sampe bersih.

dan di video itu akhirnya ane ngerti knapa nyetel2 busi gap ga di saranin, ntuh electrode rentan patah, apalagi kl ud bekas kepakai, di ketok2 tekuk2 bsa patah, nahh patahan busi didalem enjin = total overhaul plus OS kl masi hoki

Surprisingly, the best spark plug is.... our cheapo nickel spark plug..

Mobil jaman skrg malah banyak yg pake iridium sejak dr pabrik... Pdhl lebih ringkih....

Iridium sebenernya kl dikasi bensin sesuai spek, itu umur nya puanjannnggg banget.. kcuali kl sering2 knocking yahh cepet bubar itu businya..

Btw beberapa mobil ahond malah skrg businya dikasi yg nickel, bahkan hrv ane aj ternyata bawaannya dikasi busi biasa.. dl waktu masi make ge8, bawaanya malah iridium... aneh2 aj ini si jonpis

kalo sering knocking yang udah-udah sih busi nggak bubar, cuman meleleh aja sama piston bolong. kalo beruntung, dapet bonus payung klep grepesan.

There 3 types material for spark plug :
Copper – The original, but sadly not the best! Copper spark plugs are the most basic on the market, and as such are the cheapest. However, the have been largely replaced in modern cars by plugs made of Platinum or Iridium. These two materials just have such better performance and lifespan, many modern engines simply can’t run with copper plugs installed. On the other hand, older engines can often run better with copper, so there is still a place for them.
Platinum – A great middle ground material, platinum provides a real boost in performance and fuel efficiency compared to copper, but without the premium price tag of iridium plugs. For a real performance boost, look for plugs that use double platinum – both in the electrode and in the cap.
Iridium – The pinnacle of spark plug tech. Iridium plugs will deliver the best performance, the best fuel efficiency and the longest life span – but also the highest price tags

Iridium cm menang di daya tahan aja. Masalah performa sebenernya busi biasa lebih unggul.
Masalahnya busi biasa itu cpt bgt ngedrop performanya.
Misal busi iridium ama busi konvesional di dyno test(sama2 busi baru). Iridium dpt 100hp, busi biasa dpt 101hp.
Nah setelah 20rb km di dyno test lg, iridium masih dpt 100hp, yg busi biasa mungkin uda ngedrop ke 99hp.

Habis baca ini jd ingat Livina saya sering knocking, pernah ganti busi dlm 3 tahun sdh harus ganti busi lagi. Apakah benar penyebab busi iridium jd ga awet Karena knocking tsb? Skrg sepertinya mau minta ganti busi lagi soalnya kadang ndut2an dirpm rendah. Knocking nya sembuh habis di carbon clean, tp ga bertahan lama. Kira2 apakah mobil saya harus di top OH ya?
