Kalo gw suntuk & muak sama yang namanya mobil diesel. Waktu kecil dulu, bokap maunya mobil2 diesel, sampe Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-55 dua biji diganti diesel semua karena maunya irit. Setelah punya penghasilan sendiri, gw maunya mobil bensin dan gw gak peduli sama yang namanya fuel consumption; mau 1:4 kek, mau 1:14 kek, mau 1:40 kek, gw kagak peduli. Mesin mesti gede, power mesti gede, dan sekarang2 ini, tanpa turbo atau supercharger; semua naturally-aspirated. Mau power gede, pake mesin 7.0l V8.

Lcgc diesel car.. untapped market..gw percaya yg suka turbodiesel banyak, sayang pilihan terbatas di medium mpv & suv.

pilihan sekarang yg gue tahu
low mpv: chevy spin 1.3 crdi mt
mid mpv: isuzu panther, innova, Anki
luxury mpv: hyundai h1 crdi
mid small suv: renault duster
mid full suv: captiva, Pajero sport, all new fortuner, isuzu mu x, chevy trailblazer, ford everest
lux sedan: bmw 320d, mercy c 250 cdi
all double cabs

satu2nya yg under 250 juta hanya spin.., itupun fatal tidak ada varian a/t. tapi meski begitu mpv ini super irit dalkot cuma 1:15. isuzu panther dari aku SD sampe sekarang ga berubah, harganya aja yg di upping. Ga semua orang bisa afford Anki.

Fun choice..ga semua orang mampu sih. vette sih unik. satu2nya modern gasoline pushrod engine still in production. performa ferari harga bmw ya om di USA. Di sini cuma truk sama alat berat dan genset, mesin kapal yg masih pake pushrod.

btw Vette kan pake supercharger Cmiiw.

berhubung saya blom pernah nyobain mesin petrol dengan displacement gede (3000cc keatas) entah itu NA atau forced induction, jadi untuk sekarang masih lebih suka jambakan torsi di mesin diesel :ungg:

Sependapat dengan om NR. Saya termasuk non petrolhead disini. Gerobak bombomcar ane malah banyak ane kandangin. 3.000km dalam setahun. Sementara odong odong diesel jadul saya udah 5.000km dalam 6 bulan.

Saya lebih menikmati diesel cupu kolot saya, si mobil 'alakadarnya' yang tidak lagi mengganggu orang dan lingkungan dengan asap cumi dan suara kasarnya.. Masih jaman ya diesel jadul itu bergetar, berasap hitam dan brisik?

Dan saya menikmati banget kemaren bisa ngasepin para alap alap elsa (L300) pikap balen di jalan yg tau ndiri, ngga bakal mau di depannya masi ada nampak mobil lain. Babay elsa... babay 2.000cc MPi..

diesel ama bensin bagi ane sama aj...

yg penting bagi ane utk suatu enjin itu harus :

- cc gede, bigger is better itu syarat mutlak ane
- power jg harus gede
- persetan dengan suara brisik... kl ga suka suara, beli tesla aj.... panty PU ane flexible knalpot entah ud sejak kapan patah, kl digas ngalahin suara metromini kl... ipah bensin ane resonator ama muffler ud super plong, digas jg brisik tp ga ane ganti...

itu aj sehh..

Bensin ama diesel sama aja

Kok ga ada alternative ini ya

- "Jarak tempuh tahunan tidak cukup tinggi untuk justify beli Diesel"
- "Gw ga suka bau asap diesel, hasil bakaran DEX sekalipun"

Itu diatas dua alasan tambahan saya tidak beli diesel :D

Saya juga ada pertanyaan: kenapa mobil balap di sirkuit (F1 dan F-F lainnya, le-mans, nascar, dsb.) juga sprint rally jarang yg pake mesin diesel?

Untuk le-mans aja d pegang bbrpa taon oleh audi diesel om. Bmw skrg juga mulai menciptakan mesin diesel le-mans. Ga tau uda ngikutin ato belon. :ungg:

Yg saya tau, diesel jadul lebih gampang perawatannya drpd bengsin :ungg:
Pengalaman pake c223 sih asal sering ganti filter solar sama oli rutin, itu mobil sehat sekali. Sedangkan bensin harus lebih banyak printilan yg d ganti, seperti busi.
Tp klo diesel jaman skrg krena indo punya solar busuk", harus sering purging ato kuras tangki. Tkut kasian injektornya. Hahahaha

Saya termasuj pecinta diesel. Bawa dalem kota ga cape rasanya, gas dkit tenaganya ada. Tp ga benci mesin bensin. D tarik rev tinggi makin nagih. Klo diesel skrg d tarik yg bkin nagih pas turbo ngespool hehehe :frm_tumbleft:

Petrolhead atau dieselhead hmmm....

Dulu waktu jaman bokap sih dia sangat hobi petrol engine..semua mobilnya pasti bensin, ga peduli merk..waktu itu dia ga mau diesel karena kakek punya panther hi-grade thn 98 di bawa dari sikeben ke bekasi sendiri dan begitu dateng suaranya berisik banget..
Seneng liat kuatnya tuh mobil tp geli liat getaran sama suaranya..
Baru kemarin pas ane suggest beli forti vnt trus td dia seneng karena mesin diesel sekarang berubah 180 drjt (menurut dia)..

Sy sendiri juga dari dulu senengnya bensin karena hi-rev yg sangat-sangat mumpuni..begitu coba ipah d4d mt 05 punya temen bawa ke anyer. widiiiih langsung jatuh hati sama diesel. Dan waktu itu baru tau turbo uda sangat umum sekali karena dulu mikirinya turbo cuma dipake mobil mahal" atau supercar.. ternyata commercial vehicle pun pake..

Begitu beli akhirnya beli diesel dan karena kondisi pemakaian bener" jadi kuda beban dan irit..
Imho selagi pake wajar artinya g banyak modif berat diesel and petrol sama aja menurut ane cuma kalau mau pake cc gede dan irit fc ya diesel juga torsi gede di low rpm dibutuhkan untuk hauling sama ngerayap di macet..

Seperti kt om billy, gasoline turbo sih sy juga nungguin. Apalagi yang bener" bisa jadi kuda beban, light to medium modif, fc irit (1:9 minimal) dan bisa pertalitelah...seperti mimpi tp teknologi bakal terus berkembang..

Btw mau Petrol or Diesel, suatu saat akan berakhir, dan digantikan oleh Electric Propulsion

Tujuan utama utk pengurangan emisi Karbon scr signifikan

Cuman problem EV cars yg paling gede ya soal lifetime dan harga batere

Jadi nanti istilahnya ganti jadi Electric Head

Satu lagi, emisi diesel lebih beracun dari Gasoline, ingat kasus VW kan
makannya Pemerintah India membatasi penjualan mobil diesel karena pencemaran udara yang kian mengkhawatirkan

Kalo soal emisi, baik Diesel maupun Gasoline sama buruknya

Gasoline jagoan mengeluarkan emisi :
- CO2
- HC
- CO
- PM 2.5

Diesel banyak mengeluarkan :
- PM 10
- NOx
- Utk CO2 dan CO dia lebih rendah drpd mesin Gasoline

Kalo soal kasus emisi VW di US, jangan terkecoh & jangan disamakan dengan Indonesia, se buruk2-nya emisi dia, tetap masih sangat bersih sebetulnya karena mobil dilengkapi DPF & NOx SCR, hanya saja krn std CARB / Euro VI yg sgt ketat, AFR agak sedikit rich membuat std emisi dia turun spt std Euro IV dgn DPF, tapi se jelek2-nya tetap masih jauh lebih bersih drpd Diesel non DPF di Euro III or lower.

DPF dipake utk memfilter PM 10 dan NOx SCR Katalis utk merubah NOx menjadi N2

Tapi tahukah anda bahwa sebetulnya mesin Gasoline mengeluarkan emisi PM 2.5 yang lebih berbahaya drpd PM 10 (krn lebih halus)

Dan emisi CO nya itu......jika mobil tanpa katalis & knalpot bocor sangat berbahaya, maka itu kenapa banyak kasus orang meninggal di mobil saat mesin nyala semua terjadi pada mobil Gasoline

Dan skg di Eropa mobil2 GDI udah mulai pakai Particulate Filter juga, called Gasoline Particulate Filter

Btw either Gasoline en Diesel sama buruk dlm soal emisi, masing2 ada "keunggulan" pada emisi

Ke depannya ya moga2 EV cars bisa sukses en reliable & Mass Transportation yg semakin baik, serta kota didisain ramah utk pengguna sepeda.

London will follow Paris and introduce an outright ban on diesel cars which are causing "serious health damage" in the capital, campaigners warn.

The Mayor of Paris has announced radical plans to ban diesel cars from the French capital by 2020 due to concerns about how much pollution the cars cause.

Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, is also grappling with the issue of how to tackle pollution from the fuels fumes which contain tiny particles and nitrogen oxides and have been increasingly proven to be seriously damaging to health.

France, which has the highest number of diesel cars on the road, will now ban the cars out right with Anne Hidalgo, the Parisian Mayor pledging "an end to diesel in Paris in 2020".

She also said the city would have more semi-pedestrianised areas with special zones introduced at weekends.

Under the plans petrol cars registered before 2006 would also have to pay extra under the plans which the Mayor wants in place by 2020.

However campaigners say this will not be enough and London will still be following the Parisian example with an outright ban.

Stephen Joseph, of the Campaign for Better Transport, said: "I think the motor industry is wholly unprepared for the way in which the science is turning against diesels. The sciences is hardening up and it is showing different and serious health damage which is a really serious problem.

"All this emerging science I was going to have wide ranging ramifications, both in terms of the kind of cars we drive and where they are driven.

"London is very polluted and busy. Where Paris goes London won't be far behind - London is already talking about an ultra low emission zone, banning all sorts of diesel vehicles, this is not unlikely that they will banned altogether in the same way Paris has done."

In Britain, about 29,000 premature deaths a year are thought to be caused by air pollution and people living in London, Birmingham and Leeds will be exposed to dangerous air pollution from engine fumes until the 2030s unless stricter rules are imposed, according to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

Earlier this year Mr Johnson' Mayor’s senior advisor for environment and energy Matthew Pencharz, said: “When it comes to tackling London’s air pollution. and protecting the health and well-being of all Londoners, diesel cars are an issue which must be addressed.

“Over recent years the Euro diesel engine standards have not delivered the emission savings expected, yet governments have been incentivising us to buy them. This has left us with a generation of dirty diesels.”

"Cllr Caroline Russell, Green Party Local Transport spokesperson, said: "This is the third EAC report in five years and scandalously there has been no government action since the last report in 2011.

"Quite clearly our health is being severely damaged by exposure to polluted air caused by traffic emissions particularly from diesel vehicles."

"The hand wringing has to stop. We need brave political action to tackle our over-dependence on motorised private transport. That means investing seriously in public transport, scrapping the proposed new roads and ensuring that everyone has access to safe convenient networks of walking and cycling routes."

tesla model X itu idaman banget.....di luar 1.8 M...sampe sini kena hitungan pajak ga jelas plus embel2 lain..

Pertanyaannya, kapan small-medium car diesel turbo, matic, keluar di indonesia??

Kapan juga small gasoline turbo engine keluar di indonesia dengan harga yang masuk akal??
Rasanya di indo ini sama saja bohong, irit di biaya bensin, mahal di biaya secondary macam pajak, harga beli, dan sebagainya...
murah di biaya secondary, agak boros di biaya primary utuk bensin dan maintenance.
