Oil Cooler Captiva Bocor

Oil Cooler Captiva saya bocor sehingga oli masuk ke radiator dan coolant reservoir. Oleh Beres Oil Cooler sudah diganti tapi masih ada sisa oli sehingga coolant di reservoir belum benar2x bersih. Dan SA beres pun bilang belum berani rekomendasi untuk jalan jauh. Harus diapakan, ya? Tks.

Masih blm paham Oil cooler bocor bisa masuk ke coolant ya?
Biasanya sistem nya terpisah.

Karena transmission oil cooler salah satu tempatnya di dalam radiator end tank.

Yang jadi masalah lebih jelek lagi adalah coolant di dalam transmission. Ini pasti merusak transmission. Coba cek olinya, kalau warnanya seperti "strawberry milk", ya bye bye transmission.

oom bisa dipasang disini photonya atau drawing itu radiator yang nyatu dengan cooler..

Transmission oil cooler yang bersarang di radiator tidak kelihatan dari luar, hanya ada dua barbed fittings di endtank yang bawah. Gambar di bawah ini tipikal untuk merk2 asal Asia. Yang merk2 Amrik, endtank biasanya di samping.

Sebaiknya oil cooler tipe ini di-bypass dan diganti dengan external oil cooler kalau belum terpasang dari pabriknya. Tujuannya untuk menghindari kerusakan lebih parah kalau oil cooler sampai bocor.

oom Poss, makasih gambarnya...

Kalau cairan radiator kan masuk di inlet...terus ngalir lewat kisi kisi yg punya fin itu, keluar di outlet..masuk lagi ke mesin, dst...

trus ini cairan transmisi itu masuk ,..trus langsung keluar langsung kah (sebatas pada tube yang bagian bawah saja)? atau tetap dialirkan ke atas dulu, lalu turun lewat kisi kisi radiator itu juga ?? (ada jalur di kisi2 radiator untuk coolant dan ada jalur untuk ATF) ???

Oli transmisi tidak sampai ke kisi2. Di dalam endtank bawah ada pipa2 kecil, mungkin hanya ada 2-3 loops. Prinsipnya, oli transmisi "didinginkan" oleh coolant (faktanya malah dipanaskan oleh coolant).

Kalau di Navara, sudah ada external transmission oil cooler, jadi tinggal di-bypass saja yang lewat radiator.

Isi oli bawa jalan sebentar trus kuras lagi klo kurang yakin ya diulang cuman biayanya itulohh, terlebih harga oli transmisinya yg.....

sama seperti volvo, pipa oli transmisi masuk ke radiator dengan tujuan menjaga suhu supaya stabil.
sayangnya, di indonesia malah jadi heater. bukan cooler.
alangkah baiknya pasang cooler terpisah dengan radiator supaya hati tentram.

Masih lebih murah daripada harga transmisinya segeluntung.

Betul. Bukan iklim 4 musim, gak perlu heater. Kalaupun external cooler bocor, paling tidak air tidak masuk ke dalam transmission.

cooler? memangnya air yang dari kisi2 radiator setelah dikipasin itu dingin ya? :big_think:
atau maksudnya dipanaskan biar oli transmisi tidak membeku di musim dingin?

Gak gitu ngerti gw pertanyaannya, tapi coba jawab. Radiator yang ada transmission oil cooler-nya tetap bisa dipakai, hanya oil cooler-nya tidak tersambung/tidak berfungsi.

Dingin sekali atau temperatur sama dengan udara, ya tidak sampai.

Bukan begitu, ATF itu titik bekunya sangat rendah, tapi kekentalannya berubah menurut temperatur, jadi kalau di musim dingin, mengalirkan ATF di radiator akan membantu temperatur ATF supaya cepat masuk ke operating temperature range.

maksud nya gini om, kan om bilang bisa di bypass tuh aliran ATF ke radiator. kalo di bypass, perlu instal radiator baru khusus buat dinginin si ATF ato cukup di bypass aja (sambung 2 jalur jadi 1 = bypass kan)

Bagusnya pasang tambahan/external oil cooler (namanya bukan radiator, gw bingungnya disitu) . Automatic transmission kalau di iklim tropis sulit sekali bisa ada istilahnya terlalu dingin. Kalau bisa, external cooler ini dikasih electric fan.

Disini disebutnya ATF cooler om. Oia,suhu ideal oil transmision brp ya Om? Odong2 saya pasang oil cooler L300, dimensinya lumayan gede, saya ksh extra fan jg tuh coolernya. Takutnya terlalu "dingin" dan malah jd ga optimal.

Biasanya kalo oil cooler itu merujuk ke mesin om (mendinginkan oli mesin), kalo atf cooler ke transmisi (mendinginkan oli transmisi)

Oil cooler Captiva bukan berbentuk radiator tetapi berbentuk kotak dan nempel di mesin posisinya ada di deket firewall, pendinginnya pakai air radiator, kebetulan pernah ganti seal oil cooler di captiva FL ane.
Kalau air radiator sdh tercampur oli, sering kuras air radiator aja sampai bersih dari oli, semoga membantu.

Maksudnya, atf cooler yg di radiator gak dipake. Anda mesti pasang atf cooler terpisah.
ATF Cooler itu wajib ada, krn oli matic kalau terlalu panas, selain umur pakainya jadi pendek juga bisa bikin TC jadi loss kayak kopling slip.
