baru nyadar ternyata M15a neo baleno khusus indonesia kompresinya diturunkan dari 9.5:1 menjadi 9.0:1 ( WTF.....! )
saya rasa hal inilah yang menyebabkan neo baleno sangat underpowered.

untuk aman kalo pakai premium, tapi harusnya spec CR itu bisa tinggi deh or at least sesuai spec aslinya 9.5:1, spt xeniavanza, city/jazz, viosyaris, GL, dst dst.. diatas 10:1

hanya utk pengamanan saja... ini kan lebih banyak utk konsumen standar... tidak perlu power gede.
jika mau dinaikan, bisa kok... tune performance lah...

kan tergantung si pemakai, mau dipakai buat apa... kalo mau dipake balap ya jangan ambil neo baleno, or swap engine sekalian... hehehe...

Utk balap? no.. extra cost? no..
tapi untuk pick-up power harian aja, why must extra cost...
cuma memang agak aneh DOHC-VVT tapi masih 9:1 ini sptnya CR small engines di indo awal90an deh, rendah juga CR nya. Guaranteed, No-pinging engine nih.
tp again, kalo contribute significant ke FC yah cukup worth, kan kurangi value sesuatu hrsnya disetai benefitnya yg lainnya kan.

hahahahaha! iya... begitulah, tapi... sejauh yg sudah test drive (saya belum dapet giliran... hihi) perbedaan nya tidak terlalu kerasa dengan M15a lain. hanya 1-2 orang yg bilang memang tenaga lebih galak yg sebelumnya.

dan betul, FC cukup worth it... dan lagi, hasil ngobrol dengan sesama pengunjung pameran/showroom... mereka lebih melihat bentuk ex/in terior dibanding mesin... dan kenyamanan berkendara. hasil : positif feedback 65%. (rata2 masih tertarik ke swift dan xover). :)

krn muka s/d pintu2nya sama dgn sx4.
harusnya differensiasi spt pada city dan vios, biar produk/manfaat dgn pasangan basisnya itu makin beda.

lha iyalah bro... sama, neo kan SX4sedan... hehehe... differensial nya bagaimana? kalo dibedakan ya bukan SX4sedan, tapi sudah beda basis... artinya beda produksi...

khas nya suzuki memang begitu kan? baleno-baleno gti(3doors, disini ga masuk), aerio hatchback-sedan(nextG), SX4 harchback-sedan(neo).

makanya salah satu biasanya ga gitu laku.
tp gatau deh yg ini.
toyota dan honda sedapat mungkin bedakan tampilan utk yg basis sama, agar keduanya itu merupakan produk yg beda.

kalo neo dapet 16inch, lebih mahal jualnya... hihi! kidding...
sedan rata2 15" standarnya, kecuali kelas sedan gede... :)

mst ny kl gt dia pke yg 16 inci jg menyesuaikan dengan SX4 jg.kan krn di iklan bs banggan pk velg 16 inci ny.bis lucu liad neo pk velg 15.ban ny keliatan tbl bgt.

Waduh, kayaknya banyak yg salah ngerti. Compresion ratio itu ga ada hubungannya sama irit, hubungannya sama power mesin.
Makin tinggi kompresinya : makin besar tenaganya. Dan mesin akan makin efisien. Sekali lagi, kompresi tidak ada hubungannya sama suplai bensin.
Gimana mau irit, kalo dalam untuk cruising dalam kota aja seringkali harus injak gas sampai 4000-5000rpm!
Padahal kalo alasannya cuma biar bisa minum premium, kompresi diturunin ke 9.2:1 udah bisa. Tenaga lebih besar dan akan lebih irit lagi.
Ga usah diturunin sampai 9.0:1 !
Jadinya mobil lelet banget dan ga enak nyetirnya! Dan jadinya malah ga bisa irit !:e-naughty:

perasaan gada yg bilang CR korelasi langsung ke FC yah..
maksudnya kalo pengurangan power mesin yg 'mungkin saja' hasil dari penurunan value CR; ekspektasi atau idealnya ada benefit/pembanahan di sektor FC, entah dari management mesin dst dst.
Or pengurangan power tsb kurang bermanfaat.

Ya, kalau gw si CR ga terlalu bermasalah. Seperti CRV gw, CR 9.3 aja udah harus RON 91 keatas. Sedangkan 9.0 itu adalah premium, di atas 9. sudah harus pertamax. Udah tau sendiri sekarang bensin mahal bro, udah nyampe 7850/7950 itupun pertamax. Kalau pertamax plus udah 8150. Kan sekarang cari duit udah ga gampang bro. Ngerti tenaga lebih gede, tapi dengan CR gede/kecil, bensin irit itu tinggal tergantung kaki kita aja bagaimana nginjek gasnya.

@sunamuyolody : SX4 sedan ngejar irit bukan soal CR, tapi velg 15"... lumayan ngejar 0,25liter dibanding pake velg 16" SX4 hatchback.
