Orang sering bilang, nilai jual kembali Ford Escape itu ancur bgt.. Kenapa begitu yah? Karena faktor selera, performance, reliability, operational & maintenance cost ??? Ada apa dengan Ford Escape ? :? :? :? Tolong pencerahannya donk...

populasinya kecil? krn gak laku, knp? telat masuk ... krn market udah saturated dg cr-v, x-trail dan gv?

btw kalo dibali, saya liat populasinya lumayan. kebanyakan bule yg bawa ... mungkin ini juga menjelaskan knp.

loh justru menurutku design Ford Escape itu sangat menarik. :) memang keliatan lebih simpel dibanding CRV or XTrail. tapi kesan gagah dr Escape gak bisa ditandingi oleh XTrail, apalagi CRV. itu selera saya loh... kalo soal interior saya gak tau deh.

Gimana dari segi2 lainnya, bros? Adakah pengalaman dengan si Esc ini? G kayaknya minat dng boil ini, tp ragu krn sepertinya ada something wrong yg bikin hrgnya jatuh.

yg saya bingung Ford Escape itu di dunia cukup terkenal loh. kalo gak salah sdh tembus 1 jt. tapi di sini bukan Escape doank yg jatuh kayaknya. jd harga jatuh bukan krn model mobilnya doank, tapi pada mereknya. :)

gimana kalo dari sisi image? dari dua temen gua yang menyatakan tertarik sama mobil ini, mereka adalah perempuan muda berkeluarga dan udah established. btw kemaren sempet liat juga pameran mobil ini pas launch di bali, kok rasanya build quality interiornya biasa saja. kalo liat di gambar rasanya lebih bagus saudara kembarnya ... Tribute

Gw juga suka design Ford Escape, tapi entah kenapa terlalu kaku gitu... Terlalu... Amerika, ya iyalah, Ford gitu. Image Ford jelek kali, atau mungkin ada embel2 Amerikanya jadi untuk yang anti barat gak akan ngelirik mobil ini... Kali.

BUkan nya 6 jt bro. Kalo nggak salah di mobilku.com pernah di kutip total penjualan Ford Escape seluruh dunia sejak pertama launcing thn 2001 (kalo nggak salah) udah mencapai 6 jt unit.

500 ribu unit pernah di recall di USA-Canada-Mexico, gara2 salah satu part ABS nya.

Mungkin karena
1. Jaringan bengkel-nya kurang banyak
2. Dianggap boros bbm.
3. Sparepart dianggap mahal
4. Suspensinya lebih keras dibanding SUV lain.
5. Desain dianggap terlalu 'keras' dan konvensional.

Menurut saya sih desainnya bagus, apalagi kalo velg-nya diganti ring 18" mantap banget tongkrongannya. Namun ternyata di Indonesia orang lebih suka tampang SUV yang tidak terlalu 4x4. :roll: bingung kan?

Dr luar OK tampangnya, tapi dashboardnya hmmm... masih stuck di 90-an. Sama kaya Everest sebelum yg direnovasi akhir2 ini - hideous interior.

Yup seperti blindzero bilang, buat 2008 di rombak - looks MUCH better

Kalau tidak salah Suzuki XL_7 harga jualnya juga terjun bebas. Meskipun tidak masuk kriteria-2 diatas. Artinya :
1. Bengkel banyak,
2. bensin premium konsumsi relative 1:7.. (combine city/hwy). Disini konsumsi bahan bakar dilihat hanya dari perbandingan bensin vs kilometer. Tidak melihat mesin dan ukuran mobilnya. Yang diperhatikan mobil besar ya tetap harus irit.
3. suku cadang nya banyak
4. suspensi ok banget apalagi wheelbase nya panjang.
5. mungkin desainnya memang terlalu konvensional karena 100% sama dengan adik-2 nya 2.0 L dan 1.6 L

Adik saya bulan lalu jual '03 Ford Escape XLT (3.0 L) seharga IDR. 155 jt.
Kondisi : Bulan sebelumnya terlibat tabrakan beruntun di jalan Tol, bagian depan tidak parah tetapi pintu belakang (tail gate), tail light dan bumper diganti baru. Sekarang pakai Toyota Rush dan Honda Civic... Lumayan khan jual satu dapat dua hehheeee (meskipun de pe nya saja). hehehhheee.

Dulu bagaimana sih ceritanya kok Mazda terus menghilang... sampai dilepas oleh Indomobil... Sekarang mau masuk lagi tapi coba penetrasi ke pasar yang udah padat... Menurut saya bisa berakibat terbalik, namanya makin tenggelam.
Seharusnya tunggu sampai Crossover CX-7 keluar lalu penetrasi ke pasar IDR 100-300 jt... Jadi ada alternative dari Toy Harrier dan Lexus RX 350 yang katanya mau masuk ke pasar Premium diatas Rp.750 jt.

Hari gini dimana merk Suzuki,Nissan bikin breakthrough, Ford cuma facelift... susah lah..... Seharusnya tunggu sampai 08 Escape...

hehehhhee wah seperti ahli pemasaran saja ehhehehee.
