bro2 ada yg notice gak, captiva ini kalau kita lagi belok dan puter stir sampai mentok ke kanan atau kiri, terus akselerasi, terdengar suara agak mendengung gitu sepertinya suaranya dari power steering deket roda gitu.... tapi hal ini hanya terjadi waktu puter stirnya sampai mentok....apakah memang spt ini yah dikarnakan jenis power steeringnya....???

apakah Power Steering Captiva jenis hidrolik? ciri2nya ada tabung reservoir minyak P/S di ruang mesin.
semua mobil yg menggunakan jenis P/S hidrolik yg memakai minyak, tidak baik untuk memutar setir sampai mentok. Bila terlanjur mentok, segera putar balik sedikit yg penting tidak mentok.

intinya belok sampe maksimal atau kalo ga sengaja terlanjur "duk" mentok gapapa, tapi segera putar balik sedikiiit aja yg penting ga mentok... toh ga berpengaruh besar kan terhadap sudut belokan

Kalo hidraulic semua powersteering sama aja
Ga boleh ditahan terlalu lama saat mentok puter habis
Itu suara dengung dari pompa hydraulic, memang ada regulator valve, tetapi kalau terus ditahan mentok lama2 pompanya rusak atau kalau ga rusak bisa overpressure (kalo parah bisa jebol slangnya)

Norival dosisnya normal bro 1 cc/20 ltr, untuk redline dosis maximum, biasa isi biosolar 50 ltr kasih setengah botol redline (1 botol untuk 25 galls atau sekitar 100 ltr menurut petunjuk di botol). Hasilnya lebih enak dari dosis maintenance.

Norival dosisnya normal bro 1 cc/20 ltr, untuk redline dosis maximum, biasa isi biosolar 50 ltr kasih setengah botol redline (1 botol untuk 25 galls atau sekitar 100 ltr menurut petunjuk di botol). Hasilnya lebih enak dari dosis maintenance.

redline dan norivalnya dicampur dulu baru masukkin ke tangki atau satu satu masukkin nya om?

Langsung aja bro dua-duanya dimasukkan ke tanki lalu dorong pake biosolar, nyampurnya ditanki ya bukan diluar, ato gantian juga bisa masukin redline duluan isi solar, lalu kita siapkan norival stop dulu pengisian trus masukin dan lanjut lagi sampe penuh dua-duanya sudah saya coba.

CRC saya udah habis, karena dah menyerah, saya beli Redline. Kalau ga salah bukannya sekali isi full, pakai 1/4nya Redline?

Untuk dapat penambahan CN tertinggi (7 kalo gak salah) 1 botol untuk 25 gallons (sekitar 95 liter) bbm. 1 galon=3.785 liter. Kalo dosis maintenance 1 botol untuk 100 gallons. Saya sudah coba semuanya, yang paling enak dosis maximum (saya biasa isi 50 ltr bbm+stgh botol redline)

boleh tau bro.. enaknya dalam bentuk apa? misalnya tarikannya lebih enteng?bau asem berkurang, getarannya berkurang atau lain nya? thanks

Iya gan, efek yang agan rasakan gimana ya? Lebih irit, asap hitam berkurang? :mrgreen: Konsumsi BBM dari Captiva agan berapa ya?

Kalau dosis yang saya pakai sih, mirip2 dengan dosis agan. Dan terakhir pas saya kickdown, asap hitamnya banyak juga :mky_01:
Mungkin terlalu kotor ruang mesinnya ya, atau EGR nya soalnya saya jarang sekali kickdown atau digas diatas 3000 rpm.

Dan konsumsi BBM terakhir dengan isi Biosolar+Redline. 6.71 km/l dengan kecepatan rata2 cuma 15 km/jam. Kalau dilihat dari segi konsumsi sih boros, tapi kalau cuma kecepatan rata2nya kayak gitu mungkin masih masuk akal ya. Kalau MID sih tertera 12.8 L/ 100 km atau sekitar 7.81 km/l.
Kalau hitung manualnya itu setelah pompa nya buniy "Tek" saya masih tambah terus biosolarnya. Kalau pas bunyi "Tek" saya berhenti isi, hitungan manualnya jadi 7.21 km/l

Ini baru ketemu artikel yang bagus mengenai cara break-in mesin diesel. Terutama yang ada VGT dan Turbo. Yang di artikel ini sih kayaknya mesin VW TDI

Rules that apply for the life of the car
-When the engine is cold (below the first 3 white marks at the base of the temp gage) rev the engine to at least 2,500 rpms.
-When the engine is warmed up (above the first three white marks) Rev the engine to no less than 3,000 rpms.
The reason for this is to keep the turbo on boost, clear the VNT guide vanes and apply firm pressure to the rings for optimal sealing against blow-by gasses. The rings need the boost to seal since its a turbo charged engine, babying the engine is detrimental and will lead to issues with compression if done so for very long.

First 1,000 miles
Keep rpms below 3,800. Avoid steady rpms. Frequent firm application of power is strongly recomended up to 3,800 rpm. Avoid the use of cruise control so that you naturally fluctuate the power with your foot.

1,000-5,000 miles
Use the full 5,100 rpm power range. Avoid steady rpms. Avoid the use of cruise control. Frequent application of full throttle is recomended to help seat the rings. City driving is ideal for breaking in a TDI due to frequent stops and acceleration. Once you get to 5,000 miles change the oil and perform your first service per the manual

5,000-10,000 miles
Use of the cruise control is ok at this point since most of the initial break in has occured. Continue to use occasional full throttle accelerations to continue to seat the rings. You will notice the engine become slightly louder during this phase due to less friction from the engine breaking in (normal for a diesel to become louder under lighter loads). If your going on a long drive and you are using the cruise, every so often step on the peddle to accelerate up about 20 mph then coast back down to your preset speed.

10,000-60,000
This is when the rest of the break in occurs. The engine from the factory will check out with about 475psi of compression pressure out of the crate. It will take at least 60,000 miles to reach the peak pressure of 550psi. For the most part once you get to 10,000 miles your compression will be around 510psi meaning that most of the break in has occured.

60,000-the life of the motor
The engines I have seen so far using a 5w40 oil are maintaining 550 psi of compression pressure with over 200,000 miles on the odometer. The owners have followed the advice above and do not have any oil consumption issues. This also means that with the higher pressure the engine is more efficient returning optimal fuel economy and reduced smoke output.

@ Bro ezdollar & wllaw2 : waktu awal pake Norival pernah saya share di trit Norival : lebih irit dan bertenaga dibanding redline waktu pake dosis maintenance. Sekarang saya isi biosolar+dex+norival+redline dosis maximum tenaga lebih nendang. Waktu kickdown anak-anak dan istri tak suruh lihat dibelakang gak ada asap, di spion jg gak kelihatan. Waktu pake redline dosis maintenance+biosolar masih ada ngepul. Redline dosis maximum sepertinya lebih nendang dari norival, tapi norival tetep saya campurkan karena ampuh ngurangin bau masem dan juga asap. Jadi kesimpulanya : Dengan racikan biosolar+dex+redline dosis max+norival, yg saya rasakan tenaga lebih nendang, bau masem berkurang jauh, tidak ngepul waktu bejek, kalo konsumsi bbm belum saya tes lagi.

Oiya, kemaren k beres nemu VCDi FL yang problem engine check & mogok di jalan. Udah di-reset ecu, tapi masih brebet. Katanya lagi banyak issue dari fuel system. Apa biosolar kualitasnya lagi gk bagus ya?
