Info terbaru, TMO sekarang jadi TMO Lubricant, SAE masih sama tapi API Service SM sudah jadi SN. Harga sama dengan yang sebelumnya.
Mengikuti perkembangan Fastron walau agak telat, apa ngabisin stok wadah lama dulu ya?
Susahnya nyari msds TMO. Ada yang tahu?

Mau tanya, kalo oli 5w-30 buat duo kembar LCGC yg bagus apa ya? Full synth yang bisa tahan 10.000km.
Sementara sih ngincer castrol magnatec pro.
Kalo pake api sm/sn atau pake yg lebih encer lagi misalnya 0w-30 atau 0w-20 kira2 cocok ga ya?

We already see SAE 0W-16 in the market, and some OEMs are beginning to look at viscosities as low as SAE 0W-8, or even 0W-4. In this low viscosity era it is becoming increasingly important for us to understand the implications this has on the formulation envelope and on hardware protection.
Infineum studies indicate that, in some engines, reducing lubricant viscosities to 2.3 HTHS presents little risk of engine component wear. Below this level, specific engine components, for example the top ring and bearings, observe higher wear rates. To ensure ultra low viscosity lubricants deliver fuel economy and wear protection it is becoming increasingly important to co-engineer the vehicle hardware and lubricant system.
No one size fits all
This collaborative development approach becomes even more important when you consider that not all engines deliver the same fuel economy performance with low viscosity formulations.
In recent testing Infineum examined a variety of engines using the New European Drive Cycle. The engines were run on the same SAE 0W-30 oils and measured against the same reference oil. The chart below shows the different fuel economy performance seen across the range of engines.
What is clear from our research is that fuel economy lubricants must be individually tailored to suit each vehicle type, something that will add significant complexity to their development, or compromises must be made to balance fuel economy across a range of engine types.

Jadi utk penggunaan oli encer memang sebaiknya tetap merefer ke manual book atau kita bisa melihat rekomendasi SAE oli utk mesin yang sama di negara lain, jika diijinkan utk pake oli encer then go ahead
Sejauh ini penggunaan oli 0W20 kebanyakan utk mesin2 Gasoline NA merek Jepun / Korea & US, terutama produksi 2010 ke atas, utk produksi 2010 or older harap merefer ke buku manual atau rekomendasi SAE oli utk mesin yg sama di negara lain
HTHS 2.3 means 16 weight oil alias SAE buntut -16

Nah kalau kita bicara soal teknologi oli, inilah terobosan baru dalam Base Oil sintetik, walau sebetulnya bahan ini juga sudah lama exist (sejauh ini umumnya digunakan utk oli kompresor AC / kompressor & oli hidrolik), tapi beberapa pabrikan mulai coba develop sebagai bahan baku oli mesin
PAG alias Poly Alkylene Glycol
Selain PAG juga dikembangkan Alkylated Naphtalane (AN)
Advanced properties make Group V base stocks attractive in new applications
In previous Insight articles we have looked at Group I & II, Group III, PAO & GTL and most recently biobased oils. In this article we continue our coverage of Group V base oils by talking to ExxonMobil Chemical about alkylated naphthalene (AN) and esters and to Dow Chemical Company about Polyalkylene Glycol (PAG).
Currently Group IV (PAO) based lubricants are the largest product segment, accounting for 67% of demand in 2013. PAG and Ester based oils might be able to offer superior performance compared to PAOs, but Grand View Research suggests high production costs may account for their relatively low demand share.
The technical advantages offered by PAG and esters, including high thermal and oxidative stability, biodegradability and high viscosity index, are making them increasing attractive.

PAG base stocks are well known for their low friction co-efficient and excellent viscosity index, which translate to energy efficiency - something that has contributed to their success in worm gear applications. Abis beli Shell HX8 buat D4D di Graha DTMF karena toko grosir oli sibuk bgt tlp,sms,bbm gk di respon.beda dikit tetap selisinya sama toko oli kaya t*da,S*D jauh hampir 50rb/L oh iya HX 8 skr sdh API SN yg lama msh SL kemasan jg beda dan cobain Motul Htech plus 100 5W-30 buat Veloz

Lupromax 5-40 denger2 d ayung lg ad stok lama tuh... doi lg banting harga mau ngabisin stok...

Lupromax zelos beneran bagus ya? Saya liat kemasannya kok kurang meyakinkan. Trus saya iseng cari2 info di internet, ternyata ini oli buatan Indonesia, tp dipasarkan dengan merek lupromax (http://mobil.sportku.com/berita/news/ak ... e52-negara). Soalnya di website lupromax Canada sendiri juga gak ada product oli ini.
BTW, di SMS lg ada pameran lupromax. Promo beli 2 liter gratis 2 liter. Buat zelos diesel seliternya dibandrol 147 ribu

Beli di seller rekomendasi bro azu
Kesannya pake oli ini biasa aja ga ada yg istimewa hehe..
Lebih enak pake motul htech
Sebelum ini pake mobil super 10-40 soalnya lagi bokek buset tuh oli ga enak bgt

Bbrp minggu kemaren baru ganti oli hx7 10w-40, cuma 290k aja nih (mau dikasih 5w/0w kok sayang dompet ya buat mobil beginian doang... ) ... yah lumayan lah enak mobilnya sekalian tuneup & ganti busi
