Plat bodi tipis dan menyerap benturan

Jadi gini, ane kan pernah denger kalau plat body bagusnya yang tipis untuk menyerap benturan saat tabrakan. Nah minggu lalu bmw e46 ane di serempet avanza 2013, si avanzanya penyok fender nya sampe kap mesin, sedangkan e46 ane cuma penyok dikit fendernya, apa berarti plat body avanza lebih unggul dalam menyerap benturan daripada bmw kuno ane?

Kalo menyerapnya kelar sebelum kena orang didalem sih gpp
Lah kalo crumplezone-nya sampe orgnya jg jdi crumple?

dengan body berstandar GOA (Global outstanding assesment body), sebenarnya plat tipis khas 'kaleng' seperti Toyota Avanza dll bisa dibilang baik keamanannya, karena tujuannya adalah untuk melindungi penumpang dalam kabin dengan membiarkan eksteriornya hancur lebur (yang penting penumpangnya selamet)
tapi yang jadi masalah adalah, plat bodi yang tipis terlalu mudah penyok sehingga seingkali membuat pemiliknya jengkel :big_childish: :off_no:
tapi keuntungannya ya itu, karena mudah penyok, maka mudah juga untuk diperbaiki :big_okay:

Ada video di youtube nabrakin chevrolet baru dan chevrolet lama, saya lupa mobilnya apa

Setelah ditabrakkan disitu kelihatan jelas, body chevy yg baru lebih mampu untuk menyerap benturan, dibanding chevy yg 'besi semua', kemajuan teknologi lah ya

saya pernah lihat lexus model harier dibalik bempernya ada kotak besi pipa lumayan besar...jd mirip mobil eropa...

bandingkan dg jaman dulu tyt corolla ckd indo masih pakai high tensile steel dg strength level skitar 180-200 m.pa sehingga doorskin diatas doorhandle mudah dent dg bbrp ratus x tekanan jempol tangan org ...saat itu tyt punya front&rear-end inward energy absorbent crumple zone sehingga membentuk barrier agar collision energy yg lbh besar tdk terus arah firewall / cabin
