nah itu dia, emg jarang cek radiator jg sih....lagian minggu2 terakhir ini sering dibuat uprot dan terakhir ke bromo itu dgn suhu di luar jg panas jg sih...
120 rasanya blm ada warning light kok um, dan itu cuma bntr aja, stlh itu turun sktr 100-105..
kl buat daily emg paling sktr 90-95 aja...
emg kmrn tuh dipaksa pake vdc dan x mode jg, bbrp kl spin, tp fun aja...
eniwei, smpai saat ini puas bnget pake foz, rasanya di jalan ga takut mau nemuin medan kyk apa aja...

permisi, saya mau berbagi informaso aja dari info yg saya ambil dari subaru-global.com
saya pikir ini merupakan salah satu penyebab mengapa Forester 2.0 xt ini bantingan suspensinya terasa keras.
Front Suspension

A firmer front suspension gives the Forester a positive balance between ride comfort and handling over a variety of surfaces. For DIT models, the front suspension is further stiffened with higher spring rates to enhance roll control and improve response. The new friction-control oil seals, guide bushings and hydraulic fluid on the struts also work together to smoothen out minor vibrations during initial acceleration
Rear Suspension

For the first time, high-response valves for the rear shock absorber have been adopted to maximise stability and provide increased responsiveness. And for the DIT model, a rear support sub-frame has been added for a more rigid base to mount the rear suspension. Working together they make the rear of the Forester feel more controlled and the steering more responsive.

SUSPENSION

Subaru Forester 2.0 XT’s suspension has been extensively tested on a wide variety of Australian roads. It is specifically tuned to match the car’s sporty performance, producing driving excitement.

Forester 2.0 XT features stronger suspension with new friction-control oil seals, guide bushings and hydraulic fluid, allowing the dampers to work even on minor strokes. The result is improved ride quality, by controlling minor body vibrations during initial roll.

A rear support sub-frame has increased sub-frame mounting and tread rigidity of the rear suspension, which feels more solid and the steering more responsive.

Setting of an initial toe-in has made it possible to rapidly generate lateral forces at the wheels, benefitting steering response.

An initial negative camber setting ensures lateral wheel forces are generated more effectively during cornering roll, making rear suspension more stable and boosting hazard avoidance.

Top mounts with rebound stoppers mean inner wheel lifting during cornering is minimized and the grounding load increased.

All Foresters feature stronger independent strut front suspension. Top mount stiffness is increased and highly responsive valves added to the front strut. The result is substantially increased damping force and improved vehicle response.

FRONT

Rebound springs are also added to front struts to help hazard avoidance. They can reduce rebound inside the wheels and prevent the body from lifting during steering. Rolling is therefore reduced, allowing the tyres to continue gripping the road and stabilizing cornering stance.

The front strut outer cylinder is thicker and the housing bracket enlarged, increasing strut and tread rigidity, producing more responsive and natural steering.

Increasing stabilizer diameter from 21 mm to 24 mm has helped suppress roll and make the vehicle feel more stable. The clamp shape is also designed for larger stabilizers, increasing the amount of stabilizer bushing interference and boosting efficiency.

REAR

Stiffness of the front cross-members front arm mounting area is increased to produce linear, reliable response. Inter-rings are added to the front arm bushings and support sections are stiffened.

Independent double-wishbone rear suspension includes introduction of high response valves for the rear shock absorbers, producing better overall response.

Pillow ball bushings replace rubber lateral link bushings.

Toe changes are now less likely to occur on poor road surfaces, meaning significantly improved straight-ahead stability.

Rear grip is boosted by modifying the hardness of the trailing link’s bushing rubber.

To improve rigidity of the link mounting and rear suspension tread rigidity, lateral-link front brackets and rear cross-members from the rear sub-frame are thickened. This produces a more solid rear suspension feel and more responsive steering.

SUSPENSION – GENERAL

FHI engineers designed Forester’s chassis to produce sporty, responsive driving, in comfort and security, even on rough roads.

One objective was to provide a road-hugging ride without vehicle float, resulting in a good balance between comfort and handling in normal driving. Stiffened suspension has improved handling without compromising ride.

To improve driving on poor road surfaces and reduce noise and vibration, Forester’s body is stiffened around the front bulkhead, front suspension mounting area and pillar.

At the rear there is extra stiffening around the cargo door opening and suspension mounting area.

Underneath, new structural members improve joint stiffness.

pulang dari bromo pengennya sih lanjutin ke ranupane, tp kata guide-nya jalannya lbh jelek dan banyak batu besar....wahhhh jd ragu dan sayang jg kalo ntar foz kenapa2....
eniwei paling engga udh tersalurkan deh rasa penasaran selama ini utk mengarungi lautan pasir bromo.. :big_smile]

Hi Mau tanya nih, siapa tahu ada yg tahu, saya dengar-dengar kalau Audio untuk Forester 2014 (Head unitnya) yang NIK 2014 udah ngak pakai Harman kardon, benar ngak yach berita ini ? Karena waktu aku pesan ngak diberitahu sebelumnya pas tanya-tanya setelah inden baru ada sales dari cabang lain yang ngasih tahu, katanya untuk NIK 2014 masuknya udah ngak ada tulisan "Harman Kardon" nya lagi. Membingungkan nih...

Utk perbedaannya, ini saya kasih web sitenya. Kelihatannya di bearing & diameter piston juga harga (yg BR lebih mahal)

Sewaktu pesan saya sdh wanti-wanti, dan saya berikan juga no chasis & mesin (in case) - dan sdh dpt konfirmasinya dari 'sono' bahwa sesuai / bisa dipakai. Pasang & beli di D2 Concept.
Tapi belum ada waktu nih, coba lihat akhir minggu ini moga2 bisa terpasang.

um fether# sy nunggu ripiuw-nya aja ya um....kl ntar coilover-nya bisa di setting bikin bantingannya lbh nyaman dibanding yg ori, mau ikutan jg ah... :big_smile]

Maaf pak arief sy juga masih cari info biar ga salah beli. Hehe. Tapi setau sy kalau coilover meskipun di set paling soft dampernya mungkin masih lebih keras juga di banding asli bawaanya. Kecuali khusus pesen spring rate yg lebih soft.

Ada juga orang lain yg pakai legacy punya spring.

Saya juga bukan ahlinya jadi hanya kumpulin info info hehehe.

Yg sy malah mau dikerasih dikit lagi hihihi. Sy baru ganti rear sway ama pasang rear strut bar.lagi nunggu front sway sama front strutnya belum ada stock.

Kalau coilover mungkin terakhir krn ga banyak pilihan dan juga.......mahal! Hahahaha. Sm yg skrng masih bagus pernya masih sayang.

soalnya kl sy bukan speedfreak sih, skrng lg suka bawa si foz maen uprot ringan2 aja...
btw spring legacy emg cocok ya?
eh poto2nya dong um kl udh dipasangin semua...

Saya check Coilover ini utk Forester 12+ jadi saya rasa utk Gen 4 juga ngak masalah.

Yg BC VI series buat asian market; sedangkan yg BC BR series buat yg jalanannya kayak di amerik gitu infonya.

Setelah dipasang ternyata bantingannya ngak separah yg saya bayangkan, cenderung sama spt standard - memang agak sedikit stiff tapi ok banget. Handlingnya memang berasa beda dibanding stock - lebih stabil & feeling control atas mobil itu lebih baik
Tanpa diadjust tinggi rendahnya - standard sdh turun +/- 3 jari dari semula.

Hehehe bukan speedfreak malah ga berani jalan cepet. Kalo jalan cepet "radio" bisa lebih kencang lagi suaranya hahaha.

sy pikir buat lebih rigid saja.

Iya per legacy. Tapi sy juga ga lihat sendiri, hanya ada yg bilang saja, tapi ground clearance jadi berkurang kayanya ga cocok buat pak arief.

Seperti rear camber arm jg sama seperti brz atau wrx sti kalau itu confirm krn sy sudah lihat sendiri dan rencana mau pasang juga hehe.
